Reject strokes lighter than this brightness. Use ~0.30 for plan sets where proposed work is drawn black and existing-to-remain in light gray. Leave at 1.00 (off) for plans where storm linework is gray/black at the same tone as everything else.

When a layer is selected, pipe-run extraction only follows drawings on that layer. This stops the detector from latching onto parallel non-pipe lines (parking edges, building outlines) that happen to share the legend's stroke style. Existing-storm layers are flagged so you don't accidentally pick them.

When a layer is selected, hexagonal markers on it are read and matched against the right-margin numbered legend so each pipe inherits its size, material, and slope.
